This segment defines the privacy policy, for using Alumnyx (Alumnyx.com) These terms and policies are an integral part of the engagement process, mandatory for signing up or using the Alumnyx platform in any shape or form. This Privacy Policy is to be read along with any other Agreement between Alumnyx a fully owned brand of Array Innovative Services Private Limited and you, an individual, group, entity or organization (“User”).

Alumnyx (Alumnyx.com) is a fully owned brand of Array Innovative Services Private Limited, a company incorporated under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs India.

 

What personal data do we collect and why do we collect it

Comments

When users leave their personal  or professional data in any form or comments on the site we collect the data, comments and also the users IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. Personal and professional data shared on Alumnyx will be linked to the Vezume (Vezu.me, Vezume.com) platform. Certain 3^rd Party sites may get access to users personal or professional data.

Media

Avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Alumnyx will not be responsible for any data infringement, IP violation or other penal activities undertaken by users while uploading images. Users will be responsible for any objectionable material or images uploaded by them. Alumnyx will remove any such material if it is brought to its notice in written format with substantial proof.

Contact forms

By filling in the contact form, users agree to the standard terms and conditions and privacy policy that govern Alumnyx. Data will be stored in 3^rd party servers located across different geographies. The security, maintenance and running of servers are the sole responsibility of 3^rd party server operators. Alumnyx will not be responsible for any data breach in the event of server hacking or any unethical activity undertaken by external individuals or bodies. Alumnyx will be indemnified by users in case there is any leak of data/information.

Cookies

Cookies are used on Alumnyx for a variety of reasons. The objective is to ensure that Alumnyx be informative, personal, and as user friendly as possible and cookies help to achieve that goal.

By using Alumnyx, users agree to the use of cookies and other technologies as applicable. Some users may like more individual control over their visit to Alumnyx and can adjust their settings accordingly if possible. Users should refrain from using Alumnyx and its allied platforms if they do not agree to such use.

Comments left on Alumnyx, offers the option to opt-in for saving users name, email address and website in cookies. These are for user convenience to avoid having to fill in details again when leaving another comment.

If users have an account and you log in to Alumnyx, the platform will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

Some features may allow users to share their personal data with other users of Alumnyx or with other services and their users. In the event of a server hack resulting in a data breach, Alumnyx will not be responsible in any way or form and will be indemnified by users in case there is any leak of data/information. How long do we retain your data

Data will be retained indefinitely unless users ask for it to be deleted.

For users that register and create an account on Alumnyx,  personal information in their user profile will be stored.  All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except change of username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights do you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data Alumnyx hold about you, including any data provided to us, excluding sign up details. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

We enforce our internal policies and guidelines through an appropriate selection of activities, including proactive and reactive risk management, security and privacy engineering, training and assessments. We take appropriate steps to address online security, physical security, risk of data loss and other such risks taking into consideration the risk represented by the processing and the nature of the data being protected. Also, we limit access to our data bases containing personal data to authorised persons having a justified need to access such information.

What third parties do we receive data from

Alumnyx may share user data with other Array Innovative Services Pvt Ltd group companies, brands, affiliates,  or authorised third parties who process personal data. Data will be shared with the Vezume platform (Vezu.me Vezume.com) to enhance the user experience.

International transfers of personal data

Alumnyx products and services may be provided using resources and servers located in various countries around the world. Therefore, user personal data may be transferred across international borders outside the country, including countries that do not have laws providing specific protection for personal data or that have different legal rules on data protection,

 The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) terms govern this activity.

Alumnyx may be obligated by mandatory law to disclose user personal data to certain authorities or other third parties, for example, to law enforcement agencies in the countries where we or third parties acting on our behalf operate. We may also disclose and otherwise process your personal data in accordance with applicable law to defend our legitimate interests, for example, in legal proceedings or in connection with governmental requests and filings.

 

User Responsibilities

Users may only use the Services in accordance and as explicitly set forth in this privacy policy. Users will cooperate with Alumnyx in connection with the performance of this policy as may be necessary, which may include making available such personnel and information as may be reasonably required to provide the Services or support.

Use of the Services may require Users to install the Alumnyx  app on their mobile devices. Such use shall be subject to relevant. In addition, third party terms may apply with respect to third party products and software accessible via the services and with respect to devices using third party operating systems or software or in the event that Alumnyx  is downloaded from third party sites (collectively, “Third Party Services”), Users access and use of Third Party Services is governed solely by the terms and conditions of such Third Party Services. Alumnyx does not endorse, is not responsible or liable for, makes no representations or warranties and provides no indemnification with respect to any aspect of the Third Party Services, notwithstanding anything in this policy to the contrary. Users agree to waive any claim against Alumnyx with respect to the Third Party Services. Alumnyx  is not liable for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with enablement, access or use of any such Third Party Services, or users reliance on the privacy practices, data security processes or other policies of such Third Party Services. Alumnyx does not provide support or assistance with respect to the Third Party Services. Users may be required to register for or log into such Third Party Services on their respective computers or apps.

All users confirm that they are not minors, or not limited in any manner to understand and comply with the privacy policy and any agreement that may govern the Alumnyx platform. Alumnyx will not be liable for any unlawful usage of its services.

Users will not, nor allow any third party to: reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or otherwise attempt to discover the source code, object code or underlying structure, ideas or algorithms of the services, software, or any data related to the services (except to the extent such prohibition is contrary to applicable law that cannot be excluded by the agreement of the parties); modify, translate, or create derivative works based on the services or software; share, rent, lease, loan, resell, sublicense, distribute, use or otherwise transfer the services or software for timesharing or service bureau purposes or for any purpose other than its own use; or use the services or software other than in accordance with this Agreement and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations (including but not limited to any Indian privacy laws and intellectual property laws).

Users may disclose confidential information, samples of work, videos’ audio’s etc. in Alumnyx directly or through the Vezu.me, Vezume.com platforms.. Some or all of the information may be confidential, IP protected or data protected. Alumnyx takes no responsibility for the misuse, reuse or infringement of any data or information uploaded by Users. Alumnyx stands totally indemnified in all respects. 

Alumnyx Do’s & Don’ts

Do’s – Users agree to at all times;

1. • Comply with IP, Data Protection, Confidentiality and all relevant laws
   • Provide updated and accurate information.
   • Use real name on Alumnyx   while creating a profile.
   • Use the services in a professional manner.
   • Share profiles, work examples, presentations, infographics, word documents, videos, audios etc. in a professional and ethical manner.

Don’ts – Users agree that they will not:

1. • Act in a wrongful and unprofessional manner, including by posting inappropriate, inaccurate, or objectionable content;
   • Include wrong and inaccurate data in a pre defined designated field
   • Use a false image or someone else’s image on the profile
   • Create a false identity
   • Knowingly provide wrong information of any kind
   • Misrepresent one’s identity
   • Attempt to use someone else’s account
   • Send spam or other unwelcomed communications
   • Replicate others profiles or work
   • Act in an unlawful and objectionable manner
   • Disclose confidential information
   • Violate others intellectual property rights, including patents, trademarks, trade secrets, copyrights or other proprietary rights
   • Violate Alumnyx’s intellectual property, colour, logo’s and marketing collateral
   • Use Alumnyx to market products and services without permission
   • Spam or send junk mail to other Users
   • Post software viruses, worms, or any other harmful codes
   • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, decipher or otherwise attempt to derive the source code for the Services or any related technology, or any part thereof
   • Imply or state that you are affiliated with or endorsed by Alumnyx  without express consent
   • Rent, lease, loan, trade, sell/re-sell access to the services or related any information or data
   • Sell, sponsor, or otherwise monetize a Alumnyx feature without consent
   • Remove any copyright, trademark or other proprietary rights notices contained in or on Alumnyx
   • Remove, cover or obscure any advertisement included on Alumnyx
   • Collect, use, copy, or transfer any information obtained from Alumnyx without the consent of Alumnyx
   • Share or disclose information of others without their express consent
   • Monitor the services’ availability, performance or functionality for any competitive purpose;
   • Engage in “framing,” “mirroring,” or otherwise simulating the appearance or function of the services
   • Override any security feature of the service

 

Termination

The user agreement between Alumnyx  and a user will terminate on completion of the service term, violation by the user of agreed terms and conditions and privacy policy, user decides to close account, both parties i.e. Alumnyx and user agree to mutually close the business relationship. However, the agreement for the information usage, proprietary information, process, UI, code and software features remains applicable. Users will not be able to copy, reengineer, distribute any of the software features or ideas in the future.

Alumnyx will use certain data related to Users for publicity and marketing purposes. This may continue during the term of the agreement or post termination of the agreement.

On termination, Users will have no claim over IP, copyright or any data uploaded on Alumnyx

This Agreement is not assignable, transferable or sub licensable by User.

Even after termination the user may not violate the Intellectual Property Ownership clause.

Jurisdiction

The jurisdiction for any disputes will be Kolkata India and resolved through arbitration and in accordance with the laws of India.

Amendments

Alumnyx or its related url’s  holds the right to change or amend its terms and conditions and privacy policy  at any point of time.
